Back-to-Back Success at the PIPA Awards for Sharp Property Buyers

Two awards. One very proud team.

We’re proud to share that Matt Sharp has been named QPIA of the Year – Buyer’s Agent (Borderless) at the 2026 PIPA Awards for Excellence, following his win in the same category last year.

There was more to celebrate, with Sharp Property Buyers also awarded PIPA Business of the Year – Medium.

Both awards were presented at Arts Centre Melbourne on 15 October 2026.

After being named finalists in five categories earlier this year, receiving these two awards is a milestone we’re pleased to share with our clients, team and community.

What is PIPA?

PIPA stands for Property Investment Professionals of Australia. It is a professional industry association focused on raising standards in property investment advice through education, ethical conduct and professional practice. The PIPA Awards for Excellence recognise achievement within the profession. Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel against published criteria, making this recognition particularly meaningful to our team.

What is a QPIA?

QPIA® stands for Qualified Property Investment Adviser. It is a specialist accreditation offered through PIPA for professionals who provide property investment advice. Both Matt and Renee in our team hold this accreditation, and Matt’s award recognises him in the Buyer’s Agent (Borderless) category, which covers advisers helping clients purchase across state lines.

For our clients, this means considering opportunities beyond their local area, with each search guided by their individual goals, circumstances and budget. As a boutique agency, we intentionally limit the number of clients we work with so each person receives the time, care and independent guidance they deserve. Our relationship starts with understanding what matters to you and helping you make decisions with clarity and confidence.

Building on last year’s success

Receiving recognition again this year strengthens our commitment to thoughtful advice, personalised service and helping clients buy with confidence. The addition of Business of the Year – Medium makes this year’s celebration especially significant for the whole Sharp Property Buyers team.

While Matt’s name appears on the individual award, delivering our service takes the care and effort of the whole team.

From developing the brief and researching markets to inspecting properties, completing due diligence, negotiating and supporting clients through settlement, every person plays a part. The Business of the Year award is a particularly special acknowledgement of that collective effort.
